Few materials feel as deeply connected to Ireland as Connemara marble.

This rare green stone was formed over 600 million years ago, and it is found only in the rugged mountains of Connemara in the west of Ireland. Its beautiful swirling shades of green echo the colours of the Irish countryside itself ~ fields, moss, hills, and sea.

The bracelet included in this month’s MyIrelandBox features polished pieces of this remarkable stone, each one slightly different, just as every landscape in Ireland carries its own character.
