My parents in law, Tom and Geraldine, bought this book for me in during Christmas 2020. They had gifted me the prequel for Christmas before that. I’ve sent sent both of Kathleen Watkins’ fabulous poetry books to our members in different MyIrelandBoxes. This collection of Irish poetry is so special. Well-known Kathleen Watkins has travelled around Ireland reciting poetry for many a year. She says that poets have this magic way of saying so much in just a few sentences, painting beautiful pictures with their words.
