Handcrafted Wooden St. Brigid’s Cross
Handcrafted Wooden St. Brigid’s Cross
Made in County Kildare ~ the home of St. Brigid herself.
This handcrafted wooden St. Brigid’s Cross is made by Warren in his countryside studio in Co. Kildare, the very place where Brigid’s legacy has lived for over 1,500 years. There is something deeply fitting about that ~ a cross honouring Brigid, created quietly in the land she called home.
For generations in Ireland, St. Brigid’s Crosses have been made at the beginning of February to mark the turning of the season and the first stirrings of spring. Traditionally hung above doors and hearths, they were believed to offer protection, light, and blessing to the household.
Warren’s wooden interpretation carries that same meaning ~ but in a form that will last for years. Carefully shaped and finished by hand, each cross retains the warmth and grain of natural Irish wood. No two are exactly alike.
It is simple. Strong. Rooted.
Whether placed in your kitchen, hallway, or given as a meaningful Irish gift, this cross is more than decoration. It is a symbol of renewal. Of protection. Of the quiet strength woven through Irish tradition.
A piece of Kildare.
A piece of Brigid’s story.
A lasting blessing from Ireland for your home.
